Five officers of the Ukrainian Armed Forces will take part in the NATO exercises in Georgia.

According to the Ukrainian Defense Ministry’s press-service, they will leave for Georgia on May 11, when the active stage of the exercises will start.

According to Defense Ministry’s spokesman Kostyantyn Sadylov, the Ukrainian officers leave for Georgia as a headquarters personnel, without arms, so there is no need to get a concent of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine for this format of participation.
