Prime Minister of Ukraine Viktor Yanukovych considers energy and food security of the country one of the most priority directions of the Government’s activity, according to the government’s press-office.

      During the Gov session the Premier commissioned Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Andriy Klyuyev and Minister of Fuel end Energy Yuriy Boyko to prepare report on measures aimed at energy security of Ukraine which have been taken during the first 100 days of new Cabinet’s activity.

      Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine Andriy Klyuyev and Minister of Agrarian Policy of Ukraine Yuriy Melnyk will report soon on Government’s activity directed at foodstuffs price-cutting and providing the Ukrainian population with necessary amount of foodstuff.

      “I understand, the measures we have implemented for market protection are unpopular and met mass media criticism but they were forced. And I have already explained our grain traders that quota issue will be settled when our state will be provided with 100 percent of bread-grain”, Viktor Yanukovych stressed.
