If Ukraine does not pay for gas supplied in May by June 7, Gazprom will move over to 100 percent prepayments as provided for in effective contracts, Energy Minister Sergei Shmatko said, Itar-Tass reported.
“In this case Gazprom will continue performing its contractual obligations that allow it to move on to 100 percent advance payments for the Russian gas,” the minister said on Monday.
