Ukraine’s GDP to grow 3% in 2010 – forecast

According to a preliminary forecast of the Ukrainian Ministry of Economics, the gross domestic product of Ukraine (GDP) will grow by 3% in 2010.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, acting Finance Minister of Ukraine Ihor Umanskiy said this to journalists on Wednesday.

According to him, the forecast was agreed with experts of the World Bank and the International Monetary Fund.

The Ministry forecasts recovery processes in the Ukrainian economics in the fourth quarter of the current year and the first quarter of the year 2010, I.Umanskiy noted.
