Stating that Ukraine has "all chances" to become one of the main global IT hubs, Danyliuk noted the country's unique start-ups, developed infrastructure, and highly qualified experts. He added that the Ukrainian government understands the need to create better conditions for businesses and is ready to further work on this.

According to the Ukrainian Venture Capital and Private Equity Association (UVCA), which is the organizer of the Ukrainian pavilion at the exhibit, twice as many Ukrainian start-ups are represented this year compared to 2017. Among them are developments in various fields -- from 3D printing to traffic control and virtual reality systems.

"It should be noted that seven of eight start-ups attracted investments in 2017. We expect that this year 10 participants will return to Ukraine with just as many achievements or more: investments, partners, and customers," said UVCA Executive Director Olga Afanasyeva.
