Ukraine has proposed the European Union to form a Caspian-Black Sea-Baltic energy transit space within frames of the Energy Charter.

Bohdan Sokolovskiy, Ukrainian President’s Commissioner for International Issues of Energy Security, said this to a UNIAN correspondent in Brussels on Thursday.

“On June 16, a special session was held, which considered, how they put it, global Russian proposals on forming a new legal basis. And, in this context, we submitted the Ukrainian proposal”, he noted.
