Justice Ministry underscores that criminal responsibility for keeping of pornographic production threats only in cases when these actions are made with an aim of their distribution.
It is said in the comment passed to UNIAN by the press service of the Justice Ministry.
The Justice Ministry reminds that the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine adopted a Law of Ukraine “On Introducing amendments into article 301 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine” on June 11, 2009. Because of response, which caused this law and also numerous faulty interpretations of norms of this legislative act in mass media, the Justice Ministry underlines that introducing of the proposed amendment into the Criminal Code of Ukraine provides bringing the national legislation to correspondence with international- legal obligations of Ukraine, including International convention on prevention of pornographic production turnover and trade with it.
