Ukraine, Kazakhstan to back each other`s WTO bids

The prime ministers of Ukraine and Kazakhstan say they are ready to support each other`s efforts to join the World Trade Organization, according to RFE/RL.
In a joint statement, Ukrainian Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovych and his Kazakh counterpart, Daniyal Akhmetov, today also said they are seeking to expand bilateral trade and economic cooperation.
Yanukovych is on a two-day working visit to Kazakhstan. Kazakhstan and Ukraine want to join the WTO in 2007.
