Petro Poroshenko, whom the parliament appointed as the Foreign Minister today, is about to leave for Kishinev in an hour in order to take part in the summit of the heads of the state members of the CIS.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, P. Poroshenko said this in the interview to journalists today.

P. Poroshenko assured that every day of his work at this post will be efficient.

According to his words, the foreign policy of Ukraine is a vector, which has to demonstrate that all power is a united team.

P. Poroshenko noted that he will propose to introduce amendments into the state budget, which will provide increasing of financing of the diplomatic corps.

Answering the question how relations with Russia will be built, P. Poroshenko said that this country is big and the most important strategic partner of Ukraine.

“I hope that our relations will be pragmatic, mutually beneficial and will be based on respect for sovereignty of two countries” , he said.
