Turkish military delegation visits Ukraine
To discuss broadening bilateral ties.
A Turkish military delegation, headed by general colonel Bekir Kaliendzhu, chief of the Main Operative Department of the General Headquarters of the Turkish Armed Forces, arrived on a visit to Ukraine today.
According to the press-service of the Defense Ministry of Ukraine, the main aim of the visit of the Turkish military delegation is to discuss the eventual participation of Ukraine in “Black Sea Harmony” operation, along with proposals relating the measures of the bilateral military collaboration in 2007.
The chief of the Turkish delegation will meet with acting director of the General Headquarters of the Ukrainian Armed Forces general-lieutenant Mykola Tsytsiurski. The sides are due to talk over broadening the bilateral ties. M.Tsytsiurskiy will inform his Turkish guest about the main provisions of the State Program of the Ukrainian Armed Forces development for 2006-2011.
