There is no swine flu epidemic in Ukraine. Head sanitary inspector Oleksandr Bilovol said this on the air of ICTV television channel.
According to his words, “epidemic of flu and acute respiratory viral infection is noted in the western regions”. “Particularly it is noted in 11 regions, where a threshold is exceeded by 15%”, said the head sanitary inspector.
He said that, according to the last data, as a result of epidemic, 71 people died.

The head sanitary inspector said that there are 14 cases of A/H1N1 flu, which are confirmed in laboratory conditions.
“Three people, who died, had A/H1N1 flu”, said O. Bilovol.
