Inflation in Ukraine on results of 2006 made up 11.6% - State Statistics Committee

The inflation in Ukraine on the results of the year 2006 (December to December) made up 11.6%, in December – 0.9%. This is said in the report of the State Statistics Committee of Ukraine.

According to the information of the Committee, the growth of prices in December was recorded in the following categories: vegetables – by 9.7%, real estate rent – by 5.5%, eggs – by 5.5%, milk and dairy products – by 4.5%, electrical energy, gas, heat, and water – by 3%, fruit – by 3%.
