Crimean Tatars perform drum show for local Council of Ministers

Some 5 thousand Crimean Tatars rally in the center of Symferopol, pressing the Crimean Council of Ministers to allocate land to repatriates.

According to rally participant Ruslan Karimov, Crimean Tatars from Symferopol and the Symferopol district, the cities of Alushta, Yevpatoria, and Saki, participate in the protest action.

They are holding posters with demands to allocate allotments to Tatars. In front of the government’s building, they established 30 iron barrels. The Tatars are beating the “drums”, hampering the Council of Ministers to work.

Tens of policemen are supervising the order at the square.
