The government has intent to create an Investment Council.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, Prime Minister of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych claimed this at a government session today.
“Today we are considering the issue of creating an Investment Council, which will include the leading investors – representatives of the Ukrainian and foreign business, as well as specialists of the state administration”, Victor Yanukovych noted.
According to him, the activities of the Investment Council will aim at amending the national legislation in the sphere of investments protection, struggle against corruption in the sphere of investments. “In addition, algorithms of relations “power-investor” will be worked out within the frameworks of the Council”, he added.
The Prime Minister disclosed that the Investment Council will have a status of a consultative body at the Council of Ministers.
