Ukraine to enter WTO in first half-year of 2007

Economics Minister of Ukraine Volodymyr Makukha forecasts that Ukraine will enter the WTO in the first half-year of 2007. He said this to a press conference in Kyiv today.

By mid-summer we will receive the final decision that Ukraine became a WTO member”, the Minister said.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, he said Ukraine is first on the list of the countries accessing the WTO.
