Painting by Caravaggio stolen in Odesa surfaced at Moscow auction

At a Moscow internet-auction, Director of Odesa Museum of Western and Eastern Art Volodymyr Otsrovskyi found out an offer to acquire Caravaggio’s painting “Taking of Christ”, which was stolen from museum.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, he said this at the news conference today.

According to the words of Volodymyr Otsrovskyi, a devotee of Odesa Museum addressed him asking to pay attention to offer at one of internet-auctions.
