In January, the economy of Ukraine demonstrates high showings, in particular, 9,3 percent of GDP growth and 15,6 percent of industrial production growth, according to the government’s press-office. Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovych stressed answering the journalists’ questions during his working trip to Chernihiv region. “If we succeed to retain inflation within 0,5 percent – it will comply with the requirements based in the Program of social and economic development”, the PM noted.
Viktor Yanukovych said that the basic program goal of the Government to achieve annual economic growth at least by 6,5 percent. “The economy of the state must function efficiently with annual growth at least 6,5 percent. That is the limit for carrying out our social policy”, the Head of Government noted.
