The Defense Ministry of Ukraine has presented a public report “White Book – 2006: Defense Policy of Ukraine”.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, the presentation took place in Kyiv today.
Defense Minister Anatoliy Hrytsenko claimed at the measure that this edition is published annually and is presented on 23 February. According to him the “White Book” is published in Ukrainian and English. Next week the electron version of the document will be posted at the official web site of the Ministry.
“This is our public report to the society, the tax-payers, at whose cost the Armed Forces of Ukraine are financed”, A.Hrytsenko said.
In addition, he noted that the world community may got to know about the processes taking place in the Ukrainian army.
