Ukraine, Russia have been discussing an eventual merger of aircraft-building enterprises of both the countries.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, Prime Minister of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych disclosed this to journalists today.
“The integration processes in the world indicate that at first we have to merge our Ukrainian companies. And, without any doubt, the next step, which is already discussed, is the merger with our Russian partners”, he said.
According to the Prime Minister, the issue of the conditions, on which the companies will merge, will be solved in the nearest future.
“But we know very well that this merger will reinforce both Ukraine and Russia. And the world trends clearly indicate that, most probably, this merger must be carried out”, Victor Yanukovych said.
