The Ukraine’s biggest aircraft transporter – Aerosweet company, and the third largest Ukrainian airline – Donbasaero – have announced about creating a strategic alliance “Ukrainian Aircraft Group”.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, Aerosweet director general Aron Mayberg and Donbasaero director general Oleksander Hrechko announced this to a press conference in Kyiv today.
The main aims of the strategic alliance will be: to strengthen the competitiveness of airlines, to increase aircraft transportation volumes, to develop flights network, etc..
The first stage of the two companies’ collaboration is planned for 10 years – till 28 January 2017.
The strategic alliance does not stipulate a merger of Aerosweet and Donbasaero. At the same time, their collaboration within the frameworks of the alliance stipulates a merger of technical, industrial, commercial, as well as other resources, which corresponds to the international practice.
