During January-February of 2007, the total incomes of Ukrainian banks made up 1.1 billion hryvnias, which is by 2.3 times more than during the same period of the year 2006 (0.5 billion hryvnias).

UNIAN was told about this at the National Bank of Ukraine.

According to the information of NBU, compared to the same period of 2006, banks incomes increased by 2.8 billion hryvnias, or by 54.6%, and amounted to 8.1 billion hryvnias, including incomes on interest – 6.3 billion hryvnias.
