The real gross domestic product of Ukraine will grow 6.5% in 2007, and the consumer prices – 9.9%, experts forecast.
According to the press-service of the Economics Ministry of Ukraine, these are the averaged results of the forecasts, made by a group of experts, and publicized at a regular quarter seminar on macro-economic forecasts, organized by the Economics Ministry of Ukraine with assistance of UN on 15 March 2007.
The forecasts were provided by the Finance Ministry, Institute for Economic Forecasting of the National Academy of Sciences of Ukraine, the International Center of Perspective Investigations, the Institute of Economic Investigations and Political Consultations, CASE Ukraine company, the Institute of Evolution Economics, WB, IMF Offices in Ukraine, and others.
