Peatbogs burning in Poltava Oblast

A fire broke out in a peat area in the Globinskyi region of the Poltava Oblast near Radalovka village.

The press service of the main department of the Emergency Ministry of Ukraine in the Poltava Oblast disclosed to UNIAN that fire damaged dry grass on the area of 2 hectares and surface peat bog on the area of 2 hectares.

The fire was contained by a fire station of Globino village and “Orion” farming.
