In coming future Ukraine should not expect a reduction of level of fire hazard.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, head of the Ukrainian meteorology centre Mykola Kulbida said this at the conference call with leaders of the regions, which took place today under chairmanship of President of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych.
Reporting on a hydrometeorology situation in Ukraine in August, M. Kulbida notes that there is abnormal high temperature.
“At the previous session of the NSDC on August 5 I said that there will be some changes in the hydrometeorology situation in Ukraine starting from August 17”, he said.
“And what are you doing for that?” asked V. Yanukovych jokingly.
“That is why I report on today…”, answered M. Kulbida. According to his words, starting from August 17 the temperature will go down in the west regions of Ukraine. On August 18 there will be some fall of temperature in the central regions of the state, in particular, at Kyiv – Odesa line, and starting from August 19 these changes will spread over all the territory of the state.
