Mykola Azarov, the Prime Minister of Ukraine, entertains a possibility of imposition of grain export quota system in Ukraine, according to www.agrimarket.info.
To date, the Government deals with estimation of the grain stocks in the country. After receiving the final data, the Government will take decision concerning the accepted volumes of grain exports, declared M.Azarov on September 28.
According to him, the Government will receive the information about accurate grain volumes in Ukraine till the end if the current week, and the decision concerning the possible limitation of grain export volumes or keeping of free export trading will be taken on the following week.
Previously, Borys Kolesnikov, the Vice Prime-Minister of Ukraine, informed about the possible imposition of grain export limitations. According to him, in the current year, the Government will possibly have to impose the export limitations, but it will not be the complete grain export ban.
