Ukraine: Agrarian Fund to increase grain capacities

To date, the Agrarian Fund of Ukraine stocks 1.6 mln tonnes of grains, which exceeds the stated level of minimum stock volumes, which totals 1.5 mln tonnes, announced Nikolay Prysiaghniuk, the Minister of Agrarian Policy, on October 8, according to www.agrimarket.info. According to him, the Fund continues realizing the purchasing policy.

N.Prysiaghniuk also noted that according to the Decree of Nikolay Azarov, the Prime-Minister, from January 2011 the Agrarian Fund will start forward grain purchasing.

According to data of the Agrarian Fund, as of August 10, 2010, grain stocks of the Fund totaled 1.1 mln tonnes.
