“Law-enforcement bodies shall act in compliance with legislation, direct functional duties,” Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovych stressed at the extraordinary meeting of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine, according to the government’s press-office.
During the sitting the Prime Minister urged leaders of law-enforcement bodies to provide authentic and open information on the situation in the country. “I would like to urge to be open and that information be not politicized but total-lot proved,” Viktor Yanukovych said emphasizing that the key goal for the Government is achieving public order in the country.
The Head of Government has also proposed the Cabinet members to express their opinions on work order for the public enterprises and departments and strategic enterprises. At that Viktor Yanukovych added that it is necessary to discuss an issue on determining uninterrupted work of the Government on weekend for ensuring order in the state.
