Foreign Minister Arseniy Yatseniuk assures that Ukraine is interested in preparation and implementation of new investment projects with German capital and technology attraction, according to an UNIAN correspondent.
According to the Foreign Ministry press office, Yatseniuk said it during a meeting with Federal Economy and Technology of FRG Minister Michael Gloss, which took place today within the framework of official visit to the Federal Republic of Germany.
They also discussed trade and economic collaboration between two countries. Foreign Minister of Ukraine noted that Germany remains to be the first among other countries in direct investments into Ukraine economy. “But we are interested in moving further, prepare and implement new investment projects with German capital and advanced technology attraction”, Yatseniuk pointed out.
Yatseniuk and Gloss also discussed energy collaboration issues, particularly diversification of energy supplies and routes in order to guarantee long-term European energy safety. Foreign Minister of Ukraine assured the German side that Ukraine would remain to be a reliable partner in energy carrier transit sphere to the European countries.
