Ukraine sends agricultural DPM to attend CIS Summit

Deputy Prime Minister of Ukraine for issues of agricultural-industrial complex Yuri Melnyk will represent Ukraine at a CIS Prime Ministers Summit.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, Prime Minister Yuri Yekhanurov claimed this, opening the government session today.

“Yuri Melnyk will go to Dushanbe to take part in the CIS Prime Ministers meeting”, ye said.

He added that the Summit will take place during May 24-25. He stressed that neither he nor top DPM Stanislav Stashevski will be able to take part in the Summit, as they will attend the first session of the newly elected Ukrainian parliament that is scheduled for 25 May.
