Solana is convinced that parliament election take place in Ukraine on 30th of September

High Representative for the Common Foreign and Security Policy of EU Javier Solana is convinced that parliament election will take place in Ukraine on 30th of September.

According to UNIAN correspondent, he said this information to journalist in Brussels after the meeting with President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko.

“I hope, and I am sure, that the process concerning which there are arrangements, will follow”, he said.

J. Solana said that he met today with the President of Ukraine, and on 18th of June he had an opportunity to meet with Prime Minister of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych.

According to the words of High Representative of EU, he heard “good signals” concerning the partnership between the President and Prime Minister of Ukraine.
