Prime Minister of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych will pay a "special visit" to the Donetsk Oblast only after he finishes the medical treatment of his knee in Spain. Anna German, Party of Regions lawmaker, said this to Internet edition “Ostrov” today.
According to her words, V. Yanukovych can not visit Donetsk on the occasion of the 75 anniversary from the Donetsk Oblast creation because of the treatment course of his sore knee.
“V. Yanukovych can not break off the treatment. His doctor does not allow him, because if he leaves, he will have to start the treatment from the very beginning. That is why he sent his video congratulations to the Donetsk Oblast”, A. German said. (Regional television channels of the Donetsk Oblast are about to broadcast the video congratulations of V. Yanukovych in the evening of July 7 – UNIAN).
She also said that the Head of the Government will arrive to Donetsk as soon as his treatment course is completed.
“It will be a separate, special visit”, said A. German.
As UNIAN reported earlier, President of Ukraine Victor Yushchenko is now in the Donetsk Oblast on the occasion of the 75 – anniversary of the Donetsk Oblast.
