Prime Minister of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych congratulated metallurgists and miners on the professional holiday – the Day of Metallurgical and Mining Industry Employees.
The press-service of the Cabinet of Ministers disclosed this to UNIAN.
“The mining and smelting sector was and remains basic economic structure of Ukraine and has a special meaning for ensuring the stable development of the state potential”, said V. Yanukovych in his congratulation.
According to the Prime Minister’s words, this production is represented by courageous and professional people, who “ by their uneasy labor provide the development of mining and smelting complex, multiply riches of our state, improve its authority on international arena”.
V. Yanukovych is sure that professionalism, experience and persistence of metallurgists and miners will further promote the industrial developing of Ukrainian metallurgical and mineral resource industry, introducing the progressive technologies, competitiveness of home metal production in world markets, improving the welfare of Ukrainian citizens.
