The USA Land Troops in Europe chief pays visit in Ukraine
An American military delegation, headed by brigade general David Perkins, chief of the USA Land Troops in Europe, pays a two-day visit in Ukraine.
According to the press-service of the Defense Ministry of Ukraine, the aim of the visit is to broaden ties between the Ukrainian and American Land Troops, and to continue helping Ukraine in the sphere of sergeants officers training for the Land Troops of Ukraine.
During a working meeting, Ukrainian Land Troops commander Ivan Svyda and general D.Perkins will discuss a number of important issues of mutual interest.
The American delegation will also visit the imitating center of the National Defense Academy of Ukraine, during carrying out “Strimky Trizub-2007” training.
The US military men have intent to visit the 232nd target ground in Yavoriv.
The visit of the American delegation to Ukraine will last till 20 July.
