President Victor Yushchenko on Friday chaired a session of the National Security and Defense Council in Crimea, according to the President`s press-office.

      Its participants – among them Prime Minister Viktor Yanukovych, Deputy Prime Minister Oleksandr Kuzmuk, Industry Minister Anatoly Holovko, Economy Minister Anatoly Kinakh, Interior Minister Mykhailo Korniyenko (acting), and Valeriy Halatey, head of the State Guard Directorate – spoke about domestic issues, especially how to develop Ukraine’s defense industry and hold early parliamentary elections on September 30 in a democratic and transparent manner.
