Prime Minister of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych and President of Russia Vladimir Putin discussed an aircraft construction and bilateral economic cooperation issues during the meeting at “MAKS-2007” international air space show in Zhukovskij city.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, during the press conference for journalists V. Yanukovych said that during the meeting the had discussed the aircraft construction issue in details, particularly, the ways of joint policy fulfillment because the sides understand that today Russia and Ukraine by united efforts can build the range of perspective models of aircrafts and be competitive in world markets.

He also said that during the meeting they had discussed the economic cooperation issues, particularly problems, which exist between two countries today.

According to the words of V. Yanukovych, the sides noted the growth of the bilateral trade between Ukraine and Russia in 2007 year at the level of 32%.

 He also said that during the meeting they discussed the fuel-energy complex issues, particularly the providing stable work of power systems and transit oil and gas to Europe.
