President did not give mandate to negotiations between Russia and Ukraine in gas-transport sphere

President of Ukraine says that he did not give the mandate to the negotiations between Russia and Ukraine in the gas-transport sphere.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, the President said this today in the interview to journalists, giving the comments to the yesterday’s statement of President of “Naftohaz of Ukraine” NSC Evgeniy Bakulin.

Particularly, the President underlined, that people who work in the gas sphere “have to deal with gas and step aside from politics”.

He said that only the President can give mandate and directions to the interstate negotiations.
