It is expected that the travel flow of Ukrainians to Egypt will grow by 30-40% by the end of the year.
Head of "Karya tour" travel company Ouz Ergul said this in an interview to UNIAN. In particular, new charter programs to Egypt, organized by orders of Ukrainian travel operators in many cities of Ukraine, indicate this.
According to the words of O. Ergul, this year his company will open new charter programs to Egypt not only from Kyiv, but also from other big Oblast centers of Ukraine – Kharkiv, Dnipropetrovsk, Odessa, and Lviv.
“The charter flights from these cities will be brought in from the beginning of September, he said. – when in Egypt there is a high season. Residents of big oblast centers will not have to arrive in Kyiv specially to fly to popular Egypt resorts – Hurgada and Sharm-El-Sheikh”.
According to the data of Tourism and Resorts State Service of Ukraine, 180 thousand 45 Ukrainians visited Egypt in 2006, it is by 53.9% more than year 2005. The Egyptian direction became the second after Turkey the most dynamic developing travel direction in Ukraine.
