The first lesson in all schools of the Ivano-Frankovsk Oblast on September 1, the Knowledge Day, will be devoted to Commander of the Ukrainian Rebel Army Roman Shuhevytch. The lesson will be called “The Knight of the Ukrainian Host”.
The Education and Science Department of the Ivano-Frankovsk Oblast disclosed this to UNIAN. According to its information, the Oblast prepared for this day perfectly. The Ivano-Frankovsk Oblast Institute of After-Degree Pedagogical Education prepared the workbooks for the lesson, which are published as the separate book “The Knight of the Ukrainian Host”. Representatives of the Education and Science Department assert that all workbooks were distributed among schools of the Prykarpattya region. Thus, the teachers have an opportunity to present the topic as wide as possible and to show nobleness, devotion of Roman Shuhevytch to Ukraine, as well as to disprove any “falsifications” against this person, carried out by not only the Soviet propaganda, but also incumbent high officials.
