Acting chairman of board of Naftohaz Ukrayiny Ihor Didenko claimed that he sent in his resignation from the job on his own will.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, he disclosed this to a news conference today. (UNIAN: I.Didenko was restored on the post of the acting Naftohaz chief with the decision of the Appeal Court of Kyiv on 25 May 2006).
“In line with the procedure, today I signed my resignation on my own will, and I have to submit it to the Cabinet of Ministers office till 17.00”, he said.
Asked about the reasons of this step, I.Didenko stressed he was not ready to such a quantity of “rumors” and political speculations around his restoring on the post. “I do not want to be connected with any political processes around my person and Naftohaz Ukrayiny NJSC”, he said.
