The State Department for Veterinary Medicine of Ukraine sent inquiries to the embassies of the countries, which are the potential exporters of meat and meat production to Ukraine - Brazil, Argentina, Australia, and Paraguay, in order to obtain an access to the databases of their state veterinary services. Should Ukraine not be provided with this information, it will raise the question about banning the import of meat to Ukraine from these countries. UNIAN was told about this at the press-service of the Agricultural Policy Ministry of Ukraine.
According to the information of the Ministry, the State Department of the Veterinary Medicine of Ukraine get an access to databases of the New-Zealand agency for foodstuffs security, which will allow to shortly determine the authenticity of veterinary certificates and get information about the animal production import from New Zealand to Ukraine.
