First Vice Prime Minister, Finance Minister of Ukraine Mykola Azarov will coordinate the government`s work during the vacation of Prime Minister of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, Head of the Government V. Yanukovych said this at the session of the Cabinet of Ministers today.
“The timetable of my vacation for election campaigning has been agreed, and Mykola Azarov will coordinate the work. I take the vacation from tomorrow and will come back for only one day – at the Summit, on September 14, and will work with you”, said V. Yanukovych.
The Prime Minister noted that the government fulfilled almost all amount of work on preparing the main financial document of the country for 2008.
V. Yanukovych said that, to prepare the housing and communal sector for the new heating season, Vice Prime Minister Volodymyr Rybak will not take the vacation.
“The Regional Development and Building Ministry of Ukraine and the Housing and Communal Services Ministry of Ukraine must continue their work and keep these issues under the control”, instructed the Head of Government.
V. Yanukovych added that at the beginning of October, as soon as the election campaign finishes, the control session of the Government on issues concerning the preparation for winter will take place. “As we used to do it – in two weeks befor the beginning of the heating season”, he said.
