The Prosecutor’s General Office of Ukraine renewed the investigation on the case of the catastrophe of a Tu-154 passenger plane over the Black Sea in 2001.

      According to an UNIAN correspondent, deputy Prosecutor General Mykola Holomsha disclosed this to journalists today.

      He also added that the situation at “Chauda” target ground, from which the missile was shot, is under supervision, and specialists are confident that this situation will never repeat.

      As UNIAN reported earlier, the Tu-154 plane, flying on the route Tel-Aviv – Novosibirsk, was taken down by a Ukrainian missile over the Black Sea on 4 October 2001. All the 78 people, who were on the board, died.
