Ukraine to upgrade its two nuclear reactors

Enerhoatom national nuclear power-generating company plans to allocate 728 million hryvnias (~145 millions dollars) on upgrading the equipment of the first and second reactors of the Rivne nuclear power plant and the first reactor of the South-Ukrainian NPP till the end of the current year.

UNIAN was told about this at “Enerhoatom” press-center.

The company also plans to spend 36 million hryvnias on engineering works, connected with measures for prolonging the use of the reactors.
