A third of Ukrainians is reconciled to the fact of falsifications at the election.

These are the results of an all-Ukrainian poll within frameworks of annual research program “Mental Bases of Election”, carried out by the Kyiv Institute of Management Problems named after Gorshenin, and publicized at a press conference in UNIAN today.

Gorshenin Institute director Kost Bondarenko informed that, according to the results of the poll, some 24.6% of those polled have a negative attitude to falsifications, but understand that it became a norm of the political life in Ukraine. Some 5.8% have a positive attitude to falsifications, if they are committed for the sake of the state and the nation.

At the same time, some 65.4% of those polled have an extremely negative attitude to falsifications.

The poll was carried out during September 3-12 in 129 settlements of Ukraine. 2006 respondents aged over 18 years old were interviewed. The error margin does not exceed 2.2%.
