Verkhovna Rada of 5th convocation lawmaker Stepan Davymuka (Our Ukraine faction) suffered as a result of a traffic accident in the Lviv Oblast today.
According to the Ukrainian Interior Ministry, a woman passenger of the car, with which the lawmaker’s car collided, died, and the driver of this car was injured.
The traffic accident took place at around 14.00 at Zolochiv-Lviv highway near Chyzhyky village.
According to the Interior Ministry’s Motor Licensing and Inspection Department press-service, the lawmaker drove a “Lexus-470” car, and, at one of descends, collided with a VAZ-2109 passanger car, which drove on the center strip.
According to preliminary data, the traffic accident was caused by the driver of the VAZ-2109.
Both victims were taken to hospital.
