A part of the Ukrianian gas debt was caused by debts of communal heat and power engineering enterprises, said first deputy head of the Secretariat of the President of Ukraine Oleksandr Shlapak at a meeting with journalists on October 8, “Delo” daily reports.
“We requested an official information from executive power bodies, the Cabinet of Ministers, the Fuel and Energy Ministry, Naftohaz OJSC. As far as we know from the operative sources, the structure of the debt is the following: 700 million dollars is a debt Naftohaz OJSC to UkrGasEnergo, 300 million dollars is the debt of UkrGasEnergo to RosUkrEnergo, and 300 million dollars is the debt of RosUkrEnergo to Gasexport”, he said.
At the same time, O. Shlapak added: "I may tell only about arrears [of Naftohaz - UNIAN] to UkrGazEnergo. Unfortunately, they appeared as consumers failed to pay for gas at 100%. In particular, presently the debts of communal heating and power-supplying enterprises make up nearly 500 mln dollars".
