President Victor Yushchenko on Tuesday met with son of Ukraine’s hero Yuriy Shukhevych, according to the President`s press-office.
They spoke about upcoming events to mark the 65th anniversary of the Ukrainian Rebel Army. Yushchenko praised Shukhevych and his family for their contribution to Ukraine’s revival and development.

President Victor Yushchenko has recently signed a decree to celebrate the 100th birthday of Roman Shukhevych, commander of the Ukrainian Rebel Army and Yuriy Shukhevych’s father, in 2007.
