Prime Minister of Ukraine Victor Yanukovych instructed the Agricultural Policy Ministry, together with Oblast State Administrations to analyze the situation connected with the price growth.
According to an UNIAN correspondent, the corresponding order was made today at a session of the Cabinet of Ministers.
"The election already passed. All those who made fortune at the expense of society, all that things finished. We pledged during the electoral campaign to find authors, creating a stir around prices", he said.
The Prime Minister thinks said it is necessary to involve the Prosecutor General`s Office of Ukraine and control institutions and Antimonopoly Committee in reveling violations.
“The Economics Ministry has to aply a mechanism of obligatory intervention at the foodstuffs market at the expense of state reserve. We have to do this immediately”, underlined V. Yanukovych.
