The Government has allocated extra 94 million UAH for fulfilling top-priority works on liquidation emergency consequences which took place on 13 October 2007 in Dnipropetrovsk and rendering assistance to victims, according to the government’s press-office. The order of the Cabinet of Ministers of Ukraine of 15 October 2007 # 870 says.
The Finance Ministry to make payments at the costs of the reserve fund means of state budget.
In accordance with the Government’s decision, the State Committee on industrial safety, labor protection and mountain supervision, Ministry of Fuel and Energy, Ministry of Emergency Situations and Naftogaz of Ukraine NJSC with participation of the General Public Prosecutor’s Office are to control fulfillment by gas enterprises requirements of legislative acts on safe supply regimes and adherence to safety measures while providing consumers with natural gas.
By its other order the Cabinet of Ministers has authorized the State Committee on industrial safety, labor protection and mountain supervision to investigate in established order the circumstances and reasons of the blast connected with gas use in private life.
