Ukraine joined to Multinational peacekeeping forces of South-Eastern Europe – Hrytsenko

Ukraine joined to Multinational peacekeeping forces of South-Eastern Europe.

According to an UNIAN correspondent, Defence Minister of Ukraine Anatoliy Hrytsenko said this today at the news conference on outcome of the session of Defence Ministers Council of South-Eastern Europe countries.

“At this meeting Ukraine joined to an agreement on joint peacekeeping forces”, said A. Hrytsenko. He said that the next stage will be the ratification of the correspondent agreement in the parliament of Ukraine. A. Hrytsenko noted that the fulfillment of the concrete missions will be taken jointly with command of peacekeeping brigade and General Headquarters of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Moreover, according to his words, the participants of the meeting noted that Ukraine takes part in all four NATO operations – at Balkans, in Iraq, in Afghanistan and in “Active efforts” operation.
